It is reshaping the way people live in society and how they interact with one another. As more and more people log on the Internet, it has undoubtedly changed the way people think and feel about each other and the world around us. Communication has always been an important part of American culture and crucial to social lives. Means of communication have changed with the times, living situations and technological advancements. When Americans want info rmation regarding an upcoming election they often use the Internet to help them make voting decisions. The advent of the Internet has had a tremendous effect on how political campaigns are structured. Both parties are taking advantage of blogs, email, raising money with text messaging and communicating with potential contributors through email. The Internet is proving to be a faster and cheaper way for political parties to view what the masses find important. Itââ¬â¢s a powerful way to sway voters toward one candidate or issue.â⬠(3) Using the Internet to win a political campaign has proven to be a very effective tool. The Internet serves a different purpose to every user, but to a country as a whole it serves the purpose of a great boost to their economy.
